Who we are
The website diceheart.gr belongs to DiceHeart Board Game Café, Chandakos 36C, 712 02 Heraklion, Crete (“DiceHeart”, “we”). For any question about your personal data you can contact us at info@diceheart.gr.
What data we collect and why
D&D room bookings and events
When you book through the form on the “D&D Booking” page or sign up for an event, we collect your name, your email, your phone number (optional), the date and time of the booking and any note you leave us. We use them only to confirm the booking, send you a reminder and contact you if something needs to change. The legal basis is the performance of the booking agreement. Booking data is kept for up to 12 months after the date of the booking.
Shop orders
When you buy products from our online shop, we collect your name, your shipping and billing address, your email and phone number, and the details of the order. Payment details (for example your card) are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored by us. Order data is kept for as long as tax law requires (up to 5 years).
Coffee Card (loyalty programme)
What we keep. When you get your digital coffee card, we keep your name and your email address. If you choose to, we also keep your mobile number and the day and month of your birthday (not the year). We keep your stamp history too: when you got stamps and when you redeemed a free take-away coffee. If you tick the box for news, we record that you agreed and the date you did so.
Why. We use this to run your card (counting your stamps and giving you your free take-away coffee) and to email you the link to your card. We use your mobile number only so that our staff can find your card when your phone’s battery has run out. We use your birthday for a birthday treat (see below). We send you DiceHeart news only if you have ticked that box.
Where it is stored. On our own website, diceheart.gr, which is hosted by Hostinger. The card page stores a cookie on your device (dhl_card, for up to 400 days) that holds only the key of your card, so that the same phone opens your card again.
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. If you add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the card’s name, your stamp count, the name you gave us and your card’s code are sent to your phone through Apple’s or Google’s services, and kept up to date with every stamp. Removing the card from your phone’s wallet stops the updates. For Apple Wallet we also keep a technical code for your phone, which Apple gives us for these updates: it is erased when you remove the card from the wallet, or at the latest 30 days after your card is deleted. If you delete your card, the card in your wallet only says that it was deleted, without your name or your stamps. Google Wallet cards are stored by Google under its own privacy policy.
Birthday, the reminder near the café, and news. We use the birthday you gave us only to show a birthday treat on your card for a few days before and after it, and so that our staff can mark the birthday coffee as given. The reminder when you are near DiceHeart is decided by your phone itself, from the café’s location written in the card in your wallet: your location never reaches DiceHeart. News (messages from DiceHeart on the card in your wallet) goes only to members who ticked the news box and added the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and it stops as soon as you delete your card. To stop it without deleting the card, tap “Stop news messages” on your card page or “Stop messages” in the card’s details in your wallet. You can also delete the card, or write to us at info@diceheart.gr.
How long. Your card is deleted automatically after 24 months without any activity on it. You can also delete it yourself at any time with the “Delete my card” button on your card page. Deletion happens immediately and is complete: your name, email, mobile, birthday and consent are erased, and the stamp history stays without any link to you.
A copy, or deletion by us. If you would like a copy of your data, or want us to delete it for you, email us at info@diceheart.gr.
User account
If you create an account in the shop, we store your name, email and addresses so that you do not have to fill them in again. You can see and correct them on the “Account” page, or ask us to delete them.
Contact
When you send us an email or a message, we keep the correspondence for as long as we need to reply and deal with your request.
Cookies
The website uses essential cookies to work (for example the shopping basket, signing in to your account, the language and the coffee card) and, only if you accept them in the cookie message, Google’s statistics cookies (Google Analytics), so that we can see how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work properly.
Embedded content from other websites
Our pages may contain embedded content (for example Google Maps, videos, Instagram or Facebook posts). This content behaves as if you had visited the website it comes from, which may collect data and use its own cookies.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the partners needed to run the website: our hosting provider (Hostinger), the payment provider for orders, the courier for shipments and Google for statistics. All of them are bound to process the data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. To exercise these rights, email us at info@diceheart.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Security
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to data is limited to the staff who need it to serve you.
